Overview:

The etailz Manager of Search Engine Marketing manages three independently functioning teams within etailz Marketing Marketplace Services department including the Search Engine Optimization team, our proprietary SAAS team, and Marketplace Marketing. This position includes the development of team growth to ensure that etailz is continually innovating and discovering new solutions for etailz and our partners. The Manager of Search Engine Marketing works with internal teams to ensure we are mitigating risk and optimizing performance at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Manage leaders within the team to ensure their career development, exemplifying qualities of servant leadership
  • Strategic and visionary thinking to apply analytic data to concepts and develop new processes
  • Oversee budgets, income statements, and ensure profitability for the team and company
  • Accurately forecast sales velocity for partner promotions
  • Analyze campaign results, and transparently communicate results with internal teams and vendors, as appropriate
  • Identify new growth opportunities for vendors to increase sales and brand awareness; communicate with internal team
  • Balance etailz requirements/priorities with the vendors' businesses and strategic goals
  • Understand and present the value proposition of etailz's channels both internally and externally
  • Embrace etailz 4 core values every day: Over-deliver, discover solutions, serve with purpose and work hard, have fun and enjoy life
  • Exceed 2017 goals (including collectively surpassing $10m in incremental revenue generated)

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing required
  • 5+ years online marketing or advertising
  • 3+ years of management experience in a professional environment
  • Experience with software and editing tools (including SRM, Excel and SQL databases)
  • Excellent presentation, organization, and relationship building skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of SEM and SEO, as well as increasing revenue through various promotional efforts
  • Ability to manage different teams while staying organized and hitting aggressive deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Highly goal oriented
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
